Free play/ Pick-up |
Check-in/Free play
Greet each child and family. Have parents initial-in their child & give them a call # ticket (they are orange wooden boards with numbers). Allow the children to enjoy the toys and activities in the room.
Clean-up Toys
Announce that it is time to begin class and have the little ones help put the toys away. Use this time to cover up any distracting activities (ball pit, cars, felt board, etc.)
Opening Prayer
Gather the children together on the floor or at the table where you would like to read the Bible story and say a little pray for your time together.
Bible Story
Read the provided story to your group in an exciting and clear way. You may like to pause to explain certain things, ask questions, etc.
Snack Time
Encourage the children to sit down and enjoy a snack. Children may not walk around while eating/drinking snack.
Craft Time
Gather the children together and help the little ones complete a craft which will relate to the story that was read.
Activity Time
Enjoy a special game or activity with your group. This may include singing, dancing, playing games, etc.
Free Play/Pick-up
Help all of the children to gather their things, put on shoes/socks, and prepare to be picked up. All parents must initial-out their child and return their call #.
