Children's Ministry - Kingdom Kids

Kingdom Kids
Kingdom Kids: 4 years old - Kindergarten

Kingdom Kids is a special place for our children to come and learn about the Lord through various age appropriate activities. Please join us as we search for the Quest Chest, enjoy an exciting bible story and lesson, sing enthusiastic worship songs, participate in our book club and complete fun crafts and games. In Kingdom Kids, your child will be engaged in a friendly and safe environment where he or she will be able to feel at ease learning about God and interacting with the other children and leaders. We look forward to getting to know your family!

Check-in/Book Club/Free Play
Greet each child & parent by name and welcome them to class. If the child has a Kingdom Club book bag to return, help them to successfully return and receive a new bag (directions attached). After checking each child in, allow the children to play with the provided toys for a few minutes.

Prayer & Worship Time
Sit in a circle with your group and ask for any prayer requests. Help the children to understand what prayer is and what God does through it. Ask children for their prayers of need as well as prayers of thanksgiving. After prayer time, encourage the children to sing and dance to the praise songs provided. Use the song DVD to select the appropriate songs from the DVD menu.

Quest For The Doodad
Each day your lesson will be based on an object (doodad) that the children must find in the room. There will always be the "Quest Ches" that must be opened with a key. You will need to give the children clues (provided) to find the key to the Quest Chest or sometimes clues to find the Quest Chest itself!

Bible Lesson & Discussion
For each Bible lesson there will be one of two things to accomplish. Sometimes you will have a storybook to read and discuss with your group, and other times you will play a DVD for your group and follow-up with some discussion. Either way, the children will be taught a Bible lesson and will have some time to sit down and talk about it with you as a group.

Memory Verse
Help your group learn the monthly Bible verse with hand motions by practicing the words and motions together.

Craft Time & Game Time
Each Sunday, you will play a game and complete a craft with your group. Most of these games and crafts will apply to the lesson, although we will sometimes do something just for fun!

Check-out/Free Play
Help the children gather their belongings and say good bye to each child and family individually.
