Children's Ministry - Parents

The average child will spend over 1000 hours every year in school and they will spend less than 50 hours in church. The average parent has more than 10 times the opportunities to discuss spiritual issues in one year than a church leader does in 10 years! The church has limited potential to impact the heart of your child. What happens at HOME is MORE important than what happens at church!

We need you to help us help your kids by doing three things:

  1. Bring your kids to their children’s ministry class Be sure to be consistent and attend the same service each time. They’ll be sure to have a familiar face with their friends and teachers.
  2. Talk about your faith every week at home Remember, no one can have more influence on your child’s faith than you can as a parent.
  3. Pray often.  Both for your child and with your child.
Sunday Check-in Process

If you’re new to GateWay’s Children’s Ministry, please arrive 10 minutes early to our campus and get familiar with your child’s class. Your name and information will be collected and you will be given a yellow card required to be returned when you pick-up your child. Should you be needed during the worship gathering your 3 digit call number will flash on the screen above the stage in the chapel.

GateWay takes every precautionary measure it can to keep children safe while in our care.
