Gary – Husband, 3 daughters – Nicole, Kristen, Courtney. 3 dogs and 3 cats. We seem to work in 3’s!
Background:
I was born in Palo Alto, CA at Stanford Hospital, moved to Santa Cruz at 2 years old, went to all SV schools, Soquel High, then off to college at University of Arizona. Why there…they had a great Cross Country and Track team! From Arizona I moved to Ohio for a 1 year internship, moved back to San Francisco, met my hubby, fell in love and ended right back here in Scotts Valley. Family is great, life is great, God is great!
When you’re off the GBC campus what would we find you doing?
When not here in the office, I am either running, swimming, biking, or driving my kids around to all their activities. I don’t do well with sitting still for long. I also volunteer much of time at the schools, spend time with Gary, and time with God.
What is your passion?
My passion is people. I love to see how God uses people and works in their lives to point to Him. As inadequate and useless as we can feel at times, God can use it for Glory! It always amazes me! Trust in Him and see Him work in mighty and amazing ways.
Tell us a about a little known talent that you have:
Gretchen says she doesn’t have a talent, but the staff knows that she’s great at public speaking and inspires others to get out there and do things with her sporty spirit.
