Where do my children go when we bring them to GateWay?
Kids are a big deal to us and we have developed a special program with them in mind. When you come on Sunday your children have the opportunity to join our Nursery program (6 mos.-23 months,) Toddler program (2 & 3 years old,) Kingdom Kids (4 years-Kindergarten,) KIDMO (1st-3rd grade,) Edge (4th-5th grade,) or the Student Ministries Youth Group (Middle School through High School.) Each of these programs is specially designed to balance the desire for parents to have their children learn biblical values and the desire of kids to just have a lot of fun!
Do you provide adult Sunday school classes?
We offer a Christian Life Skills class called Transformations that is devoted to glorifying God by transforming the lives of followers of Jesus. Transformation classes will meet Sundays, at 10:45 am during the second service or Tuesday nights from 6:00 pm -7:30 pm in the Baymonte Wallace Building.
What should I wear on Sunday morning?
Please feel free to wear what you feel most comfortable in. GateWay is a rather causal church, and our weather is great! So it’s not unusual to see shorts, t-shirts and flip-flops. Keep in mind we’re more concerned about you than what you look like.
How long are your services?
Worship services are approximately 75 minutes long.
What are your worship services like?
The worship services are different from week to week depending on the theme or subject to be taught that morning. There’s always the opportunity to worship through music, prayer and relevant teaching from the bible. GateWay uses various expressions of worship which can include drama, visual arts, dance or video. Following the service, you’re encouraged to meet others in our courtyard where you can get coffee and a little snack.
Do I have to do anything as a visitor?
Nope! Just come and check out our church and see what God is doing. In order to get to know each other better, name tags are provided at a table in front of the chapel. So when you’re ready to, fill-out a name tag and our visitor address sheet so we can welcome you!
